The Shepparton Half Marathon offers a beautiful and challenging single-lap course, showcasing the best of Shepparton’s rivers and lakes. Starting from the vibrant festival grounds at Victoria Park Lake, runners head south along the Goulburn and Broken Rivers, passing through a mix of shaded trails and scenic open views. Upon reaching Kialla, participants embark on a picturesque 7km loop around three tranquil lakes, a highlight of the course that offers both stunning views and a refreshing change of scenery. After completing the lakeside loop, runners head back toward Shepparton, crossing the Causeway near the Midland Highway, and enjoy one final lakeside stretch as they approach the finish line at Victoria Park Lake. With aid stations positioned every 4-5 kilometers, this course provides a well-supported experience, perfect for achieving a new personal best or simply savoring the scenic journey through Shepparton.
