The 10km race at the Shepparton Running Festival offers a scenic and varied route perfect for runners of all levels. Starting at the Victoria Park Lake, the course begins with a half-loop around the lake before crossing the Goulburn River via the suspension bridge. After looping around the Causeway near the Midland Highway, runners head out for an out-and-back section along the Midland, enjoying the views of many trees. Upon reaching the turnaround point, participants retrace their steps back toward the Causeway and cross the river at the Midland Hwy, heading into the final stretch along the lake. The race concludes at the festival area, with spectators and finish-line festivities waiting to celebrate each runner’s achievement. Aid stations are positioned at 4km and 8km for hydration and support along the way.
